Position Overview:

As a Senior Wireless Network Analyst, for multiple vendors, you will provide design and technical support of wireless networks including enterprise level design, configuration and troubleshooting, supporting co-existence issue resolution, and integration testing in the network lab.
You will support beta site test installs, troubleshoot customer site issues and interoperability issues at other test labs. You will provide guidance on network configurations, help develop training material and develop best practices for Welch Allyn wireless devices.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilizing your strong technical expertise, coupled with your leadership skills, you will support troubleshooting of issues found in testing and support beta site testing and problem resolution. You will manage the network configurations and wireless labs at Welch Allyn. You will also support Tier IV problem resolution for existing wireless customers. You will develop best practices and training material for different Welch Allyn teams.

Required Background:

A Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience, is required. Demonstrated hands-on experience in network infrastructure management and troubleshooting is a must. Successful candidates will also have an understanding of interoperability between wireless clients and networks and understanding the market drivers and needs for wireless solutions. Current networking certification(s) including CCNA/Wireless and CCNP/Wireless, or equivalent, is required. Effective communication and team building skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Approximately two thirds of your efforts will be to work with new product development, continuing and sustaining engineering teams to ensure that product service capabilities are in place to support current and new products. These efforts will encompass creation and documentation of processes essential for service procedures, installations, support, administration, repair, etc.

Focusing on customers, you will act as a liaison between Welch Allyn and customers by maintaining, installing, troubleshooting and upgrading medical devices.

Working with R & D, Document Control, Tech Pubs, Testing, and Field Engineers, you will be instrumental in helping to create and develop, implement and provide training on global service and repair plans.

Required Background:

A Bachelor?s degree is required along with experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and certifications in one or more of the following will be beneficial for success: Operating Systems (MCSE, A+), Networking (N+, CCNA), Wireless (CWNA, ACMA).

Experience working within cross-functional and Technical Support, Customer Service and Field Service experience in a biomedical position is a plus, as would be knowledge of FDA guidelines.
