The QARA Manager is responsible for the oversight and coordination of domestic and international premarket approvals for the distribution of all WA products in Latin and Central America. Key Responsibilities:

As a senior staff member you will coordinate the Regulatory Affairs function and activities for the Beaverton site. You will partner with cross-functional management to resolve compliance issues and develop and implement the necessary corrective and preventive actions to support an appropriate level of continuous improvement to ensure operational efficiencies and effectiveness.

A key objective in support of business goals will include working with Corporate Regulatory Affairs & Quality Management to develop, implement, improve and maintain the quality and regulatory systems necessary to comply with global medical device regulations, directives and standards, such as FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, CMDCAS, European MDD, etc.

Responsibilities for the Beaverton site will include, but not be limited to, leading a regulatory staff of six professionals and;

• Internal Audit Mgmt.;
• Agency Audit & Inspection Mgmt.;
• Agency Communication and Coordination;
• FDA Device Listings;
• Establishment Registrations; and
• Regulatory Mgmt. for Field Actions; Recalls, Corrections or Removals

Required Background:

A Bachelors degree and solid experience in a Regulatory Leadership role interfacing with regulatory agencies (FDA preferred) and strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO, GxP, FDA) in a manufacturing / engineering environment is essential for success. You have strong knowledge of CAPA, root cause analysis, and statistical analysis techniques.

Your background includes managing the development and implementation of quality system and regulatory programs, efficiently and effectively, and knowledge of FDA, FCC, FAA, ISO, CMDCAS regulations and standards, and the European Medical Device Directive.
